Unplumbed

So, on Wednesday it was due (for english) to have read the book 'Inherit the Wind' but, naturally, I thought he had said Tuesday, so on Monday night around midnight I started the book, but didn't take any notes because, come on, that would just take longer. Also, it was my older brother's old book and he's smart <like, all a's in high school smart> and his notes were in it so I was like 'Eh, good enough' <AHHH I TOTALLY JUST REALIZED I SAID 'EH' IN THE CONTEXT A CANADIAN WOULD!!!!> Anywho, his handwriting was pretty unintelligible, and he underlined all the words he didn't know, but didn't write the definitions to all of them <COME ON BRO, I WAS COUNTING ON YOU!!> but, anywho, I was in class <on Wednesday> and we were talking about the book and Mr. Wrenn <my english teacher> said a word and asked us who knew it and we were all like *cricket crickets* and he was all like 'No one knows it? No one looked it up?' And he started getting kinda mad and so he would read out like all these words and we wouldn't know them or have looked up any of them and he was getting pretty pissed off and so he read the line 'The unplumbed and plumbing-less depths!' and asked us what 'unplumbed' meant an we were all 'A-HA IT MEANS WITHOUT PLUMBING' and he was all like 'NO. NO. IT DOES NOT MEAN WITHOUT PLUMBING. NO.' and we were all like silent and he was like 'DID ANYONE LOOK THIS UP? DID ANYONE LOOK ANYTHING UP????' And we were like not making eye-contact and it was silent for a moment and he was about to ask someone to look it up and I was like 'WAIT......'  because I saw my brother's note, but as you might be able to tell, his handwriting is horrid <like most males> so I was like 'wait a sec' and  I was like turning the book trying to find an angle in which I could actually read the writing so I was like 'not deep?' but I couldn't tell exactly what that part said and it didn't really match the context so I was like 'NO, NO, WAIT. Not sophisticated' <his note is in pencil above my green-pen note> and he was like 'YES!' and I was like 'SCORE' so.... yeah. Thanks bro. You really came through.

Oops

Whoah. I just realized my last post was forever ago. That makes you feel good. Ah well, I'm kinda busy nowadays....... anywho, tonight for dinner my family went to a place called Dante's cuz tomorrow is my older brother's birthday and it was pretty questionable because the sign called it a 'jazz nightclub' but the name was legitimately 'Dante's Down In The Hatch' which sounds like an island or a fish place but in reality it was a fondue place. I was like 'Whaaaaaaat?!?!? That, sir, is bad marketing.' And so for dinner I had like apples in swiss cheese fondue...... it was, erm, an interesting experience to say the least. And the owner or whatever (DANTE) would walk from table to tale and talk to people and he talked to us and called me pretty <SCORE!!!!!>. Compliments from old guys. That's the best kind.

Shower

So I took my first shower in my new house just moments ago <I have taken other showers these past few days, they were just at my old house cuz the water was cheaper and technically the house was still ours>, and let me tell you, it kinda sucked.

First of all, my bathroom is completely out of whack, I mean, there's one switch and it turns on the light (duh) and this fan thing, except the fan thing is SUPER LOUD. Honestly, I can stand in the freakin attic and hear the sound coming from my bathroom light. AND IT'S LIKE ONLY IN MY BATHROOM..... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!?!! This is why I have peed and brushed my teeth in the dark the past few days. Also, I did not have a bar of soap so I had to use this questionable one I found (I was desperate, ok?) and the shower is a shower/bath combo thing and the floor to the bath gives a new meaning to 'slippery when wet' I mean, I literally almost cracked my head open 12 times. AND the water knobs were crazy- there were 2 of them and I couldn't tell the difference (the 'H' and 'C' had rubbed off) and I couldn't figure out which way to turn them so I literally spent like 20 minutes trying to set it at a temperature that would neither freeze nor burn myself and my razor was still packed in a box somewhere and my dad was all 'tell me how you like the shower head' and I was like WTF? WHY DOES THE FREAKIN SHOWER HEAD MATTER?!?!?! And there was some sort of draft in my bathroom so the shower curtain kept flying up and when I started singing, since the rooms of my family are so close together I got yelled at cuz apparently at 11 at night my brothers like to 'sleep.' WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!?!

This is going to take a lot of getting used to.

Also my dad described my room as a 'pigpen' which I do not get cuz it's not dirty it's just not organized. Come on, dad. I'm pretty sure you're shouldn't be the one to judge.

OK so my computer tells me what time is is every 15 minutes <like, it legit talks to me> and that is one fo the reasons I always mute my computer (off topic, sorry) but, anywho, my computer was just all "IT'S 9 O'CLOCK" right at the exact second my phone made a little texty nose <normally I mute that too...... WHAT IS WITH ME TODAY?!?!?!>

Anywho, I'm pretty sure y'all don't care but I had a mini flip out and was all like "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!" but now I'm good and I felt bad about posting virtually nothing fo the bast couple days sooooo.....
